i never intended to write a christmas song, but going through my journal one day, these words paired so well with the music, that it was meant to be. ;) but let's go further than that. do you ever wonder, all those year ago, that little baby, God incarnate, do you ever wonder what he was thinking at that moment? he was there because of his own plan, once again, not like people would decide how things should work.

we live among the evergreens and on that night, these songs we sing, did they roll through your head? God as man, newly born, king in humble circumstances, hay for a bed.

how i fail to worship you so often. how i appreciate your patience with me.
you won’t leave me, you won’t leave me be.

you’re showing me your love endures and you hold me secure when i am among the unstable. you did all this, enduring the pain, the great sacrifice, the misunderstandings, and unwanted hate.
